Mountain River was born out of a passion for all children to know they are loved and cherished for who they are. 

Our mission is to alter the trajectory of at-risk children’s lives through our equine program by loving children unconditionally and giving them the tools to aid in the renewal of their hope, the restoration of their dignity and the mentoring of their broken hearts.

 We believe that giving a little can change the path of a young person’s life toward a more hopeful and prosperous future.
